ART. 1 - TWO-MONTH FREE TRIAL
Adefence offers new customers a free trial lasting two (2) months from account activation. During this period, they may use the features included in their chosen plan at no charge. A payment method processed by Stripe is required when the account is activated, solely to start the trial and prepare the subsequent subscription. No charge is made to the customer's card during the two-month trial. The customer may cancel the account at any time during the trial without incurring a charge.
ART. 2 - ACTIVATION OF THE PAID SUBSCRIPTION
At the end of the two-month free trial, if the customer has not canceled the account or subscription before the deadline, the plan chosen at registration becomes a paid subscription automatically. The applicable fee is charged to the payment method provided, at the frequency and under the terms shown on the Pricing page when the customer subscribed.
ART. 3 - PAYMENT AND BILLING
Subscription payments are managed through the Stripe payment processor. Adefence does not directly store the full data of the Customer's Payment Card, whose processing is governed by the conditions and privacy policy of Stripe. The renewal of the subscription is automatic unless canceled by the Customer. ART. 4 - SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION
The customer may cancel the subscription at any time through the account dashboard or by contacting Adefence support. Unless stated otherwise when the plan was purchased, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
ART. 5 - EFFECTS OF CANCELLATION
After cancellation, access to paid platform features ends when the current billing period expires. Customer data is handled under the Terms and Conditions and the Data Processing Agreement (DPA), including deletion or return upon request.
ART. 6 - PLAN CHANGES
The customer may request an upgrade or downgrade of their subscription plan at any time. Any resulting price change applies from the next billing cycle unless different terms are specified when the change is made.
